Emilee Nimetz is a multi-faceted performance artist: a spoken word poet, actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, playwright, songwriter, and has a ukulele named Maude. She is a graduate of Sheridan College and The Banff Centre and is the Writer-In-Residence for Toronto’s Dora Award-Winning Bad Hats Theatre Company. Locally, Emilee has performed with Atomic Vaudeville, Langham Court Theatre, Intrepid, Fringe, Salty Broad Productions, Victoria Poetry Slam, Raising Voices, and has performed on stages across North America. Alongside performing, Emilee works as an arts educator and administrator and enjoys contemplating the great questions in life like “why” and “what snacks will I eat?” @ukevember.emm | emileenimetz.com
