At artsREACH, we believe that all children should have the opportunity to develop to their full potential. Children who develop communication, personal management and teamwork skills into natural behaviours at a young age are able to use these life skills to create a better future for themselves.
We provide children from low-income families with the opportunity to develop life skills, by participating in high-quality arts programming that they wouldn’t be able to access otherwise. For these children to participate at no cost, funds are raised through grants, donors, sponsors and events.
Since 2005, more than 21,000 children have participated in an artsREACH workshop delivered at their public elementary school. The workshops are taught by professional artists, actors, dancers and filmmakers.
